I have a question and I'm looking for an answer

The FAQ section of our guide will help you find the answers to the most pressing questions about Among Us and its mechanics.

How to play for free? - You will find information about the available versions of Among Us. You will also learn what you need to do to play this title for free.

1. Crossplay – is it available? - On this page, you will find out whether Among Us offers crossplay and if so, with which platforms.

Yes, there is Crossplay in Among Us. You can play with other players even if they play on other platforms. Crossplay is available for all platforms on which the game was released, namely PC, iOS and Android.

To connect to the game, choose the Online option. It allows you to join open rooms and play with random people, but if you want to play with your friends, choose the Local option. After selecting this option, create a server according to your preferences and then give the code to your friends so they can join your server.

2. Tasks - which ones you should avoid pretending? On this page, you'll find out which tasks you should avoid pretending to do, as you risk being accused of being an impostor.

On this page of the guide you will learn about tasks that can reveal what role each player has in a given game. Examples will be given here showing who is a Crewmate and who is actually an impostor.

One of such tasks is Clear Asteroids on The Skeld map. During this task, a Crewmate has to shoot down a certain number of asteroids by clicking on them. This task is one of the longer ones. However, there is a way to verify whether the player performing this task is actually doing it or just pretending.

There are two cannons on the right side. If the player actually does his task, then you will see that the guns actually shoot lasers. This means that the player in question is indeed not an impostor. If, on the other hand, you don't see the guns firing lasers for a long time, it means that the player is actually pretending, and there is a very good chance that he is the impostor.

Storage is another example. Most tasks that involve dropping garbage into space are short tasks. If the player has actually completed the task, the airlock will open and the trash will fly out. This can prove that the player is indeed innocent. As with asteroids, if the player "fakes" the task, the airlock will not open. The same is true in Medbay, where the player can perform a task that scans you with a green ray. This ray is visible to everyone. If the player is standing there and the Ray does not appear for a long time, it may mean that he is faking.

Be careful, though, as some players are only just starting playing Among Us, so they may not know what they are doing. If you're playing with new players, don't suspect them of being impostors just because they're standing at one of the listed locations and do nothing.

2. Electrical Tasks – what is it? - You will find out why electrical tasks are both dangerous and difficult to perform.

How to perform them?

Electricity-related tasks are not long or complicated. They are very easy to perform. Typically, the task involves connecting same-colored cables, downloading files, pressing a button at a given moment, or setting the switches so that they light in green.

Why is every player afraid to perform these tasks?

The problem with doing these tasks is not that they are manually difficult. Doing these tasks simply comes with the great danger of the character's death. Electrical is quite large, moreover the wall on the left side obscures the view of the rest of the room. Among other things, there is a Vent that the impostors can use. In addition, impostors can sabotage the lights, and the Crewmates only see a small piece of the area in front of them when the lights are broken. To fix the lights, you need to go into the Electrical and set the switches correctly. If you go there, you can be sure it's an impostor ambush, so it's best not to go there alone. This room favors the impostors, and it is where the most reported killings occur.

4. Amongus.dev - is it safe? You can read about the amongus.dev website here, you will find out if it is safe and what the consequences are if you download files.

Amongus.dev is a website that lets players generate custom skins for Among Us. There aren't many of them, but they are really original. The problem is that this website is really just one big scam designed to rob you of your money and data. Everything looks legitimate at first glance – you choose the skin that interests you and click generate to your device.

The site then executes certain processes, and once they are finished, you will have to click Verify. When you click this option, you will see a window that will ask you to complete 2 tasks in order to get your chosen skin. It is, of course, a scam designed to take your money away. If you want to get skins for Among Us, buy them from the in-game store. To summarize, amongus.dev site isn't safe. You will get nothing from it, only lose money.

Full server – what to do?

Recently there has been an issue where players cannot join a room because the server is full. In most cases, this is caused by a huge number of players playing the game simultaneously – the serves aren't able to handle this many people. If you encounter this problem, just keep trying to join that room. After several attempts, you should be able to join.
